A computer technician

I’ve chosen to experience the job of a computer technician because I like it and this job is really good. I’ve chosen it because it’s my favourite. I would like to become a computer technician because this job is probably my Future Job.
In this job we have to repair many items like computers and we have to learn how to do it as well as something about computers.
For this Job you must get a Master degree but many years ago you only needed a BA. I love this job because it is very well paid and calm but it’s difficult when you don’t know the machine problems and how to fix it.
The professional World is awesome and interesting because many people like working with me and all is nice and they explained very well for me to understand better. However people can be naughty because I didn’t understand. Work world is very good for Young workers because we can
learn easy.

A maintenance technician

I’ve chosen to experience for a week (13/04/2015-18/04/2015) as maintenance technician because I love everything manual and it corresponds to my personality as I like the mechanical and electrical works. I had to try my brother’s type of jobs because I always was curious about what he was doing. I would like to be in this business later because I find it exciting and promising.
There are two types of jobs as a maintenance technician: one in electrical engineering for industrial machines (such as electrical cabinets, control panels … ) and one in mechanics that specializes in large industrial machines (such as three-phase synchronous motors, electric rolling carpets … )
To do this job you must have a high-school degree or a B.A . It’s strenuous to start working early and finish late but advantageous to have useful mechanical and electrical knowledge. My opinion on the world of work is that it is hard but if we want to progress it is better to choose his profession.

A foreman

I’ve chosen to experience for a week (13th April to 18th April 2015) the foreman job because I wanted to discover this job and also to see if I really enjoyed it. This job really interested me and I love this job and this job is very good. I observed that a Foreman’s missions are advising his workers, managing his site, building problems and expenses as the leader of his construction. You must get a high-school degree or a B.A .
I love this job because we meet people, communicate, you learn about human beings and it helps. But it’s difficult when we must solve problems, do great work and when one manages the problems alone. The working world is awesome.

A firefighter

The dates of my work experience as a firefighter were from 13th April to 18 April 2015.
I’ve chosen to experience this job because this job is good and athletic. I’d like to become a firefighter so this work experience is related to my future career. This job is athletic and calm, it consists in saving lives and putting out the fire.
To become a firefighter you must get a high school degree and a competitive exam. It’s risky and active but it’s a super job.

A Foreman

I did my internship from April 13th to 18th 2015 with a foreman.
I’ve chosen to experience this job because I ask myself a lot of questions about this field. I wouldn’t like to become a foreman so this job isn’t related to my future career. The site manager job is to manage a site, make sure of its good processing. He must also take initiatives and must allocate tasks to others working on site.
To become a foreman you must get a high-school degree (“bac” in the French system). I love this job but it’s difficult when you’re physically-disabled and you don’t feel at ease with customer services. All in all it was awesome, complicated and motivating.

A firefighter

I’ve chosen to experience for a week (13/04/2015 -18/04/2015) this job because I would like it to be my job.
Being a firefighter is very hard physically. There is a lot of action and things to know as nodes, vehicles and first-aid techniques for road accidents. To do this you must get a high-school-degree level. I enjoyed the working hours and the contact with the population but dealing with danger was difficult. Facing the world of work must be motivated but being prepared for this world is very complicated.

Working in a Primary School

I did my work experience in a primary school in Tapage from 13th April 2015 to 17th April 2015.
I chose this internship because I like teaching somehow. Being a teacher can be very difficult but also pleasant sometimes. Some students can have trouble focusing so it takes some patience to know how to talk, explain, to express and be directive. I observed how a teacher worked for a week and I see that it’s not easy every day. I took a group of pupils to the playground and some students were helpful when necessary.
To become a school teacher, students must have an MA in teaching and pass a competitive exam (school teachers recruitment exam) organized by the Ministry of Education. I love this job because of school holidays, we are in contact with children and we share knowledge … But there are some constraints like dealing with some problems with students and parents, corrections. The world of work for me is complicated, fun, great and interesting at the same time.

A salesperson in a garden store

From April 13th to 18th 2015 I experienced the job of a salesperson in a garden store. I’ve chosen to experience this job because I like nature, I like working in the open. There was no connection with my project as I do not see myself working in this business. I answered customers’ inquiries and I dealt with dog seedlings.
You must have a high school degree.
The advantage is that the team is very nice and the only difficulty is that we must accept the supervisor’s orders.

A computing technician

The dates of my job experience were from the 13th to 18th of April. I did my job experience in a company of camera, alarm and computer installation.
I’ve chosen to experience this job because I like computers and data processing. I wanted to become a computer scientist so this job isn’t related to my future career. The job that I have observed consists in installing alarms and cameras but also being ready all the time because we can be called in emergency to repair a computer, or other problems. During my job experienced I was called to fix a sound alarm problem.
To become a computer scientist you must get high school degree, then specialize by training in camera and alarm installations. I love this job because there are some communication with customers and a good salary but it’s difficult to be alone and stand the working hours. It’s awesome, super, fantastic and interesting. I have another vision of the professional world, i.e. seriousness and respect for customers.

A computer technician

I’ve chosen this work experience because I would like to become a computer technician. In this job we have to repair many items like computers, to learn how to do that after studying computers. For this job you must get a Master degree but many years ago you just needed a BA.
I love this job because it’s well-paid and quiet but it’s difficult when you don’t know the machines problems and therefore what to do!
The work World is awesome and interesting because many people liked working with me and all is nice and their explanations helped me understand their jobs better but sometimes people act naughty when I don’t understand.
